E-Wallpaper

On my e-wallpaper, I selected some pictures as below:

Now, I will show the process that what I had done on my e-wallpaper.

1. Open new document.
I need to set the Preset as "International Paper" and choose A4 size.

2. Go up to the File menu at the top of the screen, select Place, and then choose the background image on my desktop.

3. I used the Clone Stamp Tool on the background image.

4. I used some tools for the moon as below:

"Magic Wand Tool"

"Lasso Tool"

"Eraser Tool"

"Clone Stamp Tool"

The moon is halfly done. After that, I paste the moon to my background image.

Next, I put some effect on the moon.

5. The moon is fully done. Now, I used some tools for mooncake.

"Lasso Tool"

"Quick Selection Tool"

I paste the mooncake to my background image again.

Then, I put some effect on the mooncake.

The mooncake is also done. Lastly, I used Horizontal Type Tool on my background image and put some effect on the text.

Finally, my E-wallpaper is done !!

Layers

Layers are, without a doubt, the single most important aspect of Photoshop. Nothing worth doing in Photoshop can or should be done without the use of layers.

I have an example to show how layers work.

1. First, I open my picture from my desktop.

2. The picture will automatically become Background Layer. This is first layer.

3. Then, I create a new layer. This is second layer.

4. Use Text Tool to text words "Nemo Fish". It will under to the new layer.

5. In the Background Layer, right click to click Duplicate layer. It will copy a layer to another layer. This is third layer.

6. Select the Quick Selection Tool to select the picture without select the nemo fish.

7. So, now go up to the Filter menu, choose Blur, and then choose Gaussian Blur.

8. The background of the nemo fish become blur. This is all for the third layer.

Finally, my nemo fish is done.
